Testimonials

May I start off by saying that I thank you for giving my son the opportunity to work for your summer program. I think it is a great program that helps teenagers be more responsible.  I think my son has benefitted from the summer program in a tremendous way. My sonhas taken on a more responsible role as he matures into becoming a young man. He enjoys art and I think that his role at St. Louis ArtWorks has giving him the skills he can use beyond the classroom when he goes back to school. He had hands on experience in something he enjoys doing which I think is great. He also was able to learn the importance and values of team work and team building. My son was very proud of his job and his art work. He like the fact that he was able to get more experience in welding which is something he learned in school. You and your staff are doing a great job with these teenagers and my son. Keep up the good work. Again thank you.

I totally support this program. My daughter is excited to go to work everyday. I am grateful this program gives creative youth an opportunity to expand their horizons in a professional business environment. My daughter has greater vision and depth to her future creative career pursuits. I will encourage her to apply for every apprenticeship St. Louis Artworks offers. This program matters. I appreciate your efforts. Thank you.

For the past 3 summers of having this job, he has been able to do the extra things he has needed to do and also buy.  Money is pretty scarce because of the economy.  So he has been glad to help buy his clothes for school as well as other things.  He has been able to go out of town and most importantly stay out of the city streets, hanging around not doing anything.
